Hobbies
Lorraine Huber, 29, is a dual citizen of Austria and Australia, residing in her home town Lech am Arlberg, Austria during the winters and Torquay, Australia in the summers balancing her two passions in life: skiing and surfing. The daughter of an Austrian ski instructor, Lorraine found herself at home on snow since childhood.

Lorraine started pursuing her freeskiing career full-time in 2007. With an overall ranking of 11th place in the Freeride World Tour 2009, Lorraine most recently won the 2009 New Zealand Freeride Series and received a wild card for the women’s Freeride World Tour stop in Fieberbrunn, Austria. Previously, Lorraine founded and ran her own freeride school in Sölden, Austria, working as a guide and directing freeride camps for men and women. As a coordinator of the Kästle Adventure Tours, Lorraine still enjoys coaching and directing programs such as the Skeena Heliskiing Camp in Canada or the Women’s Freeride & Yoga Camp in Lech, Austria. Lorraine is a fully certified ski mountain guide and hence one of the most experienced and qualified female big mountain skiers in Europe.

Now, Lorraine is working with Europe’s top outdoor photographers and film producers to capture the world of skiing for a wide range of media.
